N.C.Yeastract/K.klactis currently includes the description of 300 documented regulatory associations between transcription factors (TF) and target genes. Information about each gene has been extracted from the Genbank assembly accession GCA_000002515, corresponding to the genome assembly of Kluyveromyces lactis NRRL Y-1140, the representative genome submitted by Genolevures Consortium at Jul 02, 2004. For each gene the associated Gene Ontology (GO) terms and their hierarchy in GO was obtained from EnsemblFungi. Currently, N.C.Yeastract maintains a total of 16.715 terms from GO for K.klactis. All the information in N.C.Yeastract is updated regularly to match recent literature on Kluyveromyces lactis regulatory networks.
